Club chairman Michael Escolme was also in parkrun action but in Southampton where he ran the course in 32:09

Martin Gunther ran the Kings Lynn parkrun, running a time of 21:19. Unfortunately there was a total breakdown of barcode scanners so the organisers had to piece all of the results together manually.

On Sunday Andrew Gibson ran the Birchwood 10k. This popular race around the suburbs of Warrington provides a fast, flat course which gives runners a good chance of a new personal best time. Andrew completed the 10k in 49:39.

Also in action on Sunday were Heather Carter and Mat Simister who ran the Run to the Castle ultra-marathon in Wales. Starting in the picturesque seaside town of Aberdovey this 45 mile race takes runners on a challenging coastal path route to Harlech Castle. Heather finished the race in 8 hours 7 minutes with Mat following a little while behind in 10 hours 43 minutes.
