On a beautiful sunny
September Sunday, 136 runners and their families descended on
Sandbach for the Sandbach 10k Sponsored by Butcher & Barlow solicitors.

This is the 11th
year that this event has been held and each year it gets better and
better. Along side the main event there was a children’s fun run,
bouncy castle, face painting, BBQ, cake stall, a unicorn, live music,
sports massage from Sandbach Physiotherapy, and a pop up shop from
Rosebank Sports. All the proceeds from the day are donated to the
club’s chosen charity for the year, Central Cheshire BuddiesScheme, which supports children and young people with disabilities to
access a range of activities which they would not normally have the
opportunity to be involved with.

the finishing line with the first three males racing for the win.

Feedback from
entrants was that it was a ‘fantastic event’ and ‘very well
organised’ with ‘fab marshals’ and ‘very much appreciated
support at the finish line’.
