Wednesday night’s club run saw the 4th of the clubs summer series of events – the Club Handicap, a race which anyone can win. First lady home was Lucy Lee, followed by June Wray and Jo Askey. First male home was Matt Simister, followed by Kevern Roberts and Steve Treweeks

The big race on Sunday was the Sandbach 10k Sponsored by Butcher & Barlow. This is the 11th year that this event has been held and each year it gets better and better. All the proceeds from the day are to be donated to this year’s club charity Central Cheshire Buddies Scheme, which supports children and young people with disabilities to access a range of activities which they would not normally have the opportunity to be involved with.
